It was always Atimot's idea, it would be very ignorant to specialize in only one style when there is a huge rage of music styles. So he was looking for an instrument to play all th various music styles on it.
The way to the turntables was found easily, as well as the necessary musical background.
DJ Atimot's first appearance was in 1998 - at that time under the synonym "Dj Robby".
His legendary aperiodic DJ-Nights at the Queens - the mini-gay-club - caused some chaos under the residents and lots of wet naval shirts of the guests. Only short time later Atimot became resident of the "Gay Dance by Onkel Ralf", the one-and-only Dresden gayparty this time.
As a DJ artist Atimot deserves his laurels and is a refreshing contrast to the average. Without difficulty atimot realizes the seamless and elegant connection between Neo Pop, Vocal to Deep House and Electro.
Who ever saw Atimot at his several DJ gigs knows his enthusiasm while perfoming his kind of art.
„When I do not have fun, i cannot entertain the people", Atimot says. „As a DJ you have to be egositic. To say it clearly: I do not perform for the poeple. I never tried to educate my audience. I share a part of me with my audience, I respect it and love it."
AtimotDJ discovered a sound for himself. A sound arised at the right place to the right time - a coincinence maybe not coming by accident.
